Workday volunteering
Volunteering with us is not just about getting your hands dirty. We are often looking for people who can help with fundraising, marketing and coms and other tasks.
Our workdays focus on those who need our support the most, so please email us if you want to visit the garden, or if you have a referral for someone you feel would benefit from working with us
We can only accommodate volunteers who have made advance arrangements with us.
Hire the cabin
We have a beautiful eco cabin situated at the top of our garden, nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park. It is the perfect place to hire for a creative activities and outdoor community events. The building is timber-framed, straw-baled, solar-powered and off grid, with stunning views out over Brighton and the Downs. Make this your next spot for yoga, art and eco therapy, lunch club, or team building days!
Hiring the garden is the perfect way to support the work we do providing young and vulnerable people across the city access to nature education.
Opposite the cabin is seating for 30 people next to our flower meadow, with views across the garden.
Team building
Our garden and cabin are available for hire for groups, events and team building. We can offer a freshly-prepared lunch, seasonal food to suit all tastes, or we can offer to cook lunch on site for you when you are there. Nature themed creativity workshops can also be arranged, and we can help with advice on getting the best from your corporate social responsibility activity.

The garden is on quite a steep hill and unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs. We don’t hire the garden out for parties.
